All components were built around the constant point of each bike – the center of the wheel. All unnecessary parts were eliminated in order to perform the elementary functions to perfection.

The T-Type system is precisely coordinated for a perfect function and is not compatible with existing, older Eagle drives.

The XX SL Eagle Transmission rear derailleur fundamentally optimizes the function between the cassette and the rear derailleur. Developed as integrated, interdependent drive components, the T-Type switchboard is mounted around the wheel axle with a new type of mounting interface. The groundbreaking full-mount fastening method creates a unique, stable connection and is supported on both sides of the frame for optimal switching precision.

In addition, the new rear derailleurs have the intuitive coupling and adjustment process, as you already know from the existing SRAM Eagle AXS components. The proven overload clutch and a flat profile protect against damage by sliding the rear derailleur inwards under the chain strut. Thanks to its new construction, the tensioning roller, the Magic Wheel, continues to rotate even when an object is jammed in it and can thus protect against defects. In addition, the XX SL Eagle Transmission rear derailleur has additional weight-saving recesses in its carbon cage and a B-Knuckle cover in elegant black.

NOTE: Contrary to the illustration, the rear derailleur is supplied without a battery. A frame with UDH interface is absolutely necessary for assembly! The rear derailleur is NOT compatible with existing Eagle drives!
